I have always been drawn to animals, particularly cats, so it's no accident that they've found their place in my art. I've come to understand, that although these wonderful creatures cannot speak, they have so much to say, if only we are willing to listen. My goal in my art is to capture the unique energy of my subject, so that the viewer can get a glimpse into their personality. Eyes are often the focal point of my work, as they are the windows to the soul.
