Chuck Durst
I've been doodling since the 1940s and I've been to a few schools, but most of my growth has come from great mentors such as those at CPSA DC 201. My favorite medium is ink and colored pencil wash or just plain graphite.
I have a strong interest in motorcycles. My father rode & raced them and I have had many of my own.  I enjoy illustrating them and find them uniquely beautiful.  The "Kneeler" is a particularly dangerous form of motorcycle racing and is no longer done locally.
I did not expect to ever see a "Snipe".  As a former Boy Scout from Ohio, we went on Snipe Hunts at night with pots & spoons.  As we got older we were convinced they were not real.  On a field trip to Ridgefield WA Animal Reserve I found and photographed the bird that was posing.  I later found it to be a "Wilson Snipe".
     I also like Flowers!
