Welcome to the CPSA District Chapter 201 Web site.
The Colored Pencil Society of America is a nonprofit organization formed in 1990, now with 23 active U.S. chapters dedicated to artists working with colored pencil.

District Chapter 201 was the very first district chapter, also formed in 1990 under the national organization. More about our chapter.

If you missed the November meeting...you missed a great workshop led by our own Mike Pease. Mike is a long-time, full-time artist, and he taught us new ways to see and think about color. He also got us considering ways each of us can make our work unique. Thanks again, Mike. You've definitely inspired us.

We'll take a break from meetings until January to allow everyone to focus on the busy holiday season. But please mark your calendar for the next meeting on January 17.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! The 2009 shows are coming up fast. Keep working on your art!

Here's your chance to see the images submitted to the Seattle 2008 International Exhibition, those that made it and those that didn't...and the award winners. AND, we'll answer your questions about how to enter and frame your artwork for the 2009 International Exhibition and our very own
DC 201 show in Eugene. Watch for details.
