I enjoy the control that colored pencil offers, and the opportunity to become immersed in detail or complicated color blending. When looking for a piece to paint, I look for the play of light, color, and shape. These are the things that satisfy my soul and bring me great pleasure. I love the ability to create color images that reflect the subject, but also capture the imagination of the viewer.

Sharon is the Exhibition chair and historian for DC201.
