Bonny Wagoner
As we muddle along through life there are things that grab our attention. I work in realism taking care capture the combinations of light and dark, negative and positive spaces in tandem with color. For me it's about stopping to notice these things in everyday life. I served in the Marine Corps as an illustrator/Draftsman on active duty and later transitioned to reserve status in the Oregon Air Guard where I was able to continue serving as a Graphic Technician until I was commissioned. I am a graduate of Marylhurst University where I studied traditional art in addition to illustration, a somewhat unique combination but it has served me well. I work in a variety of mediums but colored pencil is by far my favorite.
