Colette Griffiths

I have been drawing since I was 12 years old. With my love of animals, the focus of my art has been animals. I have painted some family portraits but it is not my passion.

Part of my free time is spent researching small exotic cats and their well being in captivity as well as the wild. This research has given me a volume of photographs of the animals as well as their habitat.

Currently most of my work is on commission. Many of my paintings have been auctioned for fund raising for wildlife and children in need.

Recently one of my paintings was selected to be on the inside cover of the 2010 Bengal Cat Calendar. Other paintings have been used to produce lapel pins, printed on shirts, and transferred to ceramic for jewelry boxes.
