Over the last few years my work has shifted from the light that surrounds my subjects to the identity of the subjects themselves. I have found that it is very important for me to try and capture that unique identity that each subject has within and strive to pull my viewers into the feelings and emotions of that identity. I want those who see my work to be drawn into each piece, to feel the intense emotions of each subject and to somehow feel connected to them.
